Wellington Advocacy Appoints Madison Cox as Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Waterloo, May 23 – Wellington Advocacy, a leading government relations, strategic communications, and digital mobilization firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Madison Cox as its first Chief Product Officer.

With a strong background in government relations, strategic communications, project management, and corporate strategy, Madison brings a wealth of experience to her new role.  Notably, Madison served as the Chief of Staff to the President of one of Ontario’s leading comprehensive universities, where she successfully spearheaded revenue-generating advocacy strategies and built strong relationships across all levels of government.

Prior to her work in the higher education sector, Madison played a pivotal role in leading communications strategies in support of former Canadian Cabinet ministers and heads of state from various countries while at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI).  Madison also previously served in a senior strategic communications role in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada where she was responsible for the development and execution of strategic communications across multiple senior federal departments.

As Chief Product Officer, Madison will oversee the development and enhancement of Wellington Advocacy’s product offerings, ensuring the firm continues to provide innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients.

Madison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Queens University and resides in Waterloo, Ontario with her family.
