Wellington Advocacy congratulates Strategic Advisory Board Member, the Honourable Janice Charette, P.C., O.C., on her appointment as Canada’s Chief Negotiator for Canada–U.S. Trade.

Drawing on decades of experience as the Chief Executive of Canada’s Public Service, political advisor and diplomat, Ms. Charette is a trusted leader who will serve the interests of Canada with distinction.

Appointed to this role by Prime Minister Mark Carney, Ms. Charette will personally lead and oversee Canada’s negotiations with the United States of America.

We are immensely proud to see Ms. Charette assume this crucial role and encouraged that Canada will be represented by such a trusted leader in these highly consequential negotiations.
