Peter Csillag
Vice President
Peter brings over a decade of experience in public affairs, politics, and advocacy. He advises clients on addressing policy challenges with governments in a range of sectors including technology, health, energy, environment, construction, and aviation. Prior to his consulting career, Peter held several roles in provincial and federal politics. He served as Director of Issues Management for the Leader of the Official Opposition and caucus in the Alberta Legislature, as well as the winning 2019 election campaign, and served as Senior Communications Advisor to the Government Caucus in British Columbia. At the federal level, Peter served as Director of Issues Management & Parliamentary Affairs for Canada’s Minister of National Defence, and held communications and issues management roles in the Minister’s office at Employment and Social Development as well as Citizenship and Immigration.

Clancy Bouwman
Vice President
Clancy brings experience working directly with federal and provincial party leaders and government officials. He served as Executive Assistant to the former Premier of Alberta for 3 years. Prior to that, Clancy was a political advisor on Parliament Hill in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition. Clancy has experience in political campaign management and stakeholder relations, most recently managing a province-wide leadership campaign.

Greg McFarlane
Vice President
Greg McFarlane is a senior executive advisor and public affairs specialist with more than 25 years of experience spanning the federal government, the Government of Alberta, and the private sector. Throughout his career, Greg has advised Prime Ministers, Cabinet Ministers, and CEOs, bringing a rare combination of political acumen and corporate leadership to complex challenges.
Greg has held a number of distinguished roles, including Policy Advisor in the Prime Minister’s Office, a number of roles in federal Ministries, including Chief of Staff to the Canadian Indigenous Affairs Minister, and as a Vice President of a national strategic communications firm. This breadth of experience positions him as a trusted advisor at the intersection of government and business.
Based in Calgary, Greg holds degrees from Dalhousie University and the University of Alberta.

Lindsay Milligan
Director
Lindsay is an experienced public affairs professional with a strong track record supporting strategic initiatives across both the public and private sectors. She joins Wellington Advocacy following her role with the Oilers Entertainment Group, where she advanced relationship-driven strategies to strengthen high-value partnerships and support organizational priorities.
Lindsay has also served in several roles within the Government of Alberta and the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, including in the Office of the Chief Government Whip and in senior supporting capacities with the Ministries of Service Alberta and Children’s Services. Her experience across government operations and stakeholder engagement enables her to bring practical insight and a results-driven approach to partners navigating Alberta’s political and policy environment.

Ashley Wilde
Consultant
Ashley brings a decade of experience specializing in event planning, leadership, and communications. She helped build Alberta’s United Conservative Party, serving as Director of Operations until 2022, and worked on the 2019 Alberta election and 2019/2021 Federal Conservative campaigns. Before Wellington, Ashley advised Canada’s largest cannabis retailer on communications and government relations and built connections with the governments of Alberta and Canada to reduce barriers to business growth. She is pursuing a Public Relations diploma from the University of Victoria, complementing her Bachelor’s in Counselling Psychology.

Ethan Lecavalier-Kidney
Consultant
Ethan has experience at the highest levels of government in Alberta. Before joining Wellington Advocacy, he served as Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Press Secretary to the Ministers of Justice and Public Safety and Emergency Services. Most recently, Ethan served as the Issues Manager in the BC Conservative war room during the 2024 British Columbia election.

Lucas Robertson
Consultant
Lucas brings a wealth of experience from Alberta’s government to his role at Wellington Advocacy. He has served with the United Conservative Party Caucus, the Minister of Health’s office, and the UCP Caucus Whip’s Office, and contributed to key initiatives and policy development. He holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies from the University of British Columbia.
