New practice to be led by B.C. political veteran, Katy Merrifield

VANCOUVER, BC – Today, Wellington Advocacy announced the further expansion of their operations with the addition of a British Columbia office. With the launch of a Vancouver-based team, the national full-service public affairs firm will provide organizations across the province localized solutions for government relations, strategic communications, international development, digital advocacy and campaign management strategies.
Wellington Advocacy welcomes Katy Merrifield, VP, British Columbia, to lead the west coast practice. With over twelve years of experience in provincial politics, Katy has a unique understanding of the province’s political, public and private sector landscapes. Previously, Katy served as Executive Director of the BC Liberal Party and Director of Communication to British Columbia Premier Christy Clark. She also served as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health, and the Minister of Jobs, Tourism, Skills Training and Labour in British Columbia.
