We are looking for a driven and dynamic Consultant to join our Trade Practice. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make an impact in the world of trade policy and government relations.
What You’ll Do:
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor federal political, regulatory, and policy developments, including government announcements, speeches, staff changes, budgets, and cabinet shuffles. Provide timely insights to clients and leadership.
- Guide & Advise: Help clients navigate complex policy challenges and government engagement strategies to advance their interests.
- Create & Communicate: Craft compelling government relations plans, presentations, memos, proposals, and briefing notes that resonate with key stakeholders.
- Drive Results: Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring deadlines are met while juggling competing priorities.
- Network & Build Relationships: Engage in stakeholder outreach and management to strengthen Wellington’s influence and reach.
- Research & Analyze: Conduct in-depth research across various sectors to identify opportunities and strategies that benefit clients.
- Deliver Excellence: Ensure all assignments and projects are executed with precision and professionalism, even in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities.
- Grow & Innovate: Support the development and execution of strategic business plans for trade advocacy, communications, and client engagement.
